About Us

Abby W. Bekele is a passionate attorney zealously representing her clients in areas of family law in California and immigration matters across the U.S.

Abby graduated with honor from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego where she simultaneously with her Juris Doctorate got a Certificate in Social Justice for her contribution and commitment to helping the local community.

Before she moved to San Diego, Abby was an excellent insurance and business litigation attorney and an assistant judge at the Federal High Court of Ethiopia. She also worked at the United Nations Permanent Forum for Indigenous Peoples in New York.

Abby passed the California bar exam in her first attempt and immediately embarked on solo practice. Abby helped a number of fellow immigrants in various areas of immigration law and in their path to achieve the American dream.

Abby also helped a number of families in their divorce, custody, and support proceedings. Abby’s excellence in family law emerges from her genuine desire to help families overcome very difficult and highly emotional times in their lives.

Divorce one of the most scariest and stressful times in anyone life I remember the day I walk into Abby Bekele office after about 5 minutes I new Abby was the choice for me I went from depression to feeling Confident and alive Abby made the whole process stress free and Comfortable Abby is a true Rockstar in the World of law I would recommend Abby she Truly Cares!!!! about her clients.

Abby was a great asset during my dissolution efforts. She proved to be very knowledgeable, and was willing to answer my questions in a straight forward and clear style. There seems to be an interesting trend among attorneys in which they find it necessary to flip some sort of "psychological switch", and become faceless, emotionless, money driven legal robots. I found Abby in the worst time of my life. My ex-husband surprised me with divorce papers after he took all the money out of our bank accounts.
